Gert Dewulf
Groups Director
Hello, I'm Gert Dewulf. As Groups Director I am responsible for everything closely or remotely related to groups. This includes incentive travel, shore excursions, events, conferences, deluxe coach tours and so on.
I am 39 years old and have been working at De Buck for over 14 years now. I have a Master's degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Ghent. I have also obtained an additional licenciate diploma in Tourism.
I'm married to Kristien and we have 3 young children: Elien (11 years), Liesbeth (9 years) and Lennert (5 years). You can imagine that the three of them take up most of my leisure time, but apart from having fun with them I also love gardening and sports. In that department I especially enjoy cycling, swimming and running, Nowadays if I do get to the cinema it's usually only for kids' movies, but personally I prefer films like 'The Right Stuff'. Last but certainly not least : I'm probably one of Bruce Springsteen's most fanatic fans. For me he remains the one and only 'Boss'.
Thanks to my job I have the opportunity to see quite a bit of the world. My dearest memories are of travelling to Canada, the United States, Brazil, Jordan and Europe's nicest spots.
