 Bienvenidos en San José, Costa Rica. We enjoy ourselves in a great hotel with a swimming pool, a wonderful dinner and unlimited drinks for everyone. |
 The adventure begins the next day! We head into the jungle for an inland expedition on rafts. | |
 Thrilling rapids, waterfalls and unexpected current changes - afterwards all the teams give eachother high fives. |
 A pleasant lunch with local delicacies and tropical fruit awaits us on the banks of the Sarapiqui river. | |
 Then we set course for a picturesque volcano; we have a good view of it from the beautiful lodge we're staying at. Even from our own bungalow. |
 We explore the area around the volcano on quad-bikes... | |
 The winding track brings us to the middle of the jungle and the forests... |
 Where this sloth, among other things, has made its home. We also see monkeys and colourful poisonous toads, the national symbol of Costa Rica. | |
 Along the way we stop for drinks and to exchange our various tall stories. |
 The volcano - one of the world's most active - is always prominently visible in the background. |

 We spend a pleasant evening relaxing in a beautiful complex with fourteen hot springs on the side of the volcano. Bathing in hot water in the lush jungle at temperatures of 40°C or more. |

 For our next adventure, we first take a hike into the tropical rainforest... |
 ... where we climb up to a platform in little groups, in the canopies of the trees. | |
