History

• "Father" Gerard De Buck founded the De Buck Coach company in 1953.
• Within the wide region of Ghent, De Buck becomes synonymous for quality coach travel for clubs, schools and other groups
• De Buck publishes its own tour operator brochure with trips varying from 1 to 15 days
• In the 70s and 80s De Buck welcomes the rise of air travel
• Apart from mere transportation, the group department specializes more and more in organized travel - tailor-made
• These are packages combining transportation (via our own De Buck coaches or by plane), hotel accommodation, guide, restaurants, visits, etc.
• From the early '90s the incentive travel department is launched (for business clients), as well as the travel agency (for individual travel) and shore excursions (for American cruiseships)
• De Buck also develops the organization of complex transportation challenges (sometime over 50 coaches on one day)
• The group department steadily grows over the years.
• In the 21st century De Buck still honours its basic principles :
