"Cotton Club" Theme Party

Back to 'What we do'

The party takes us back to the time of the infamous nightclub "The Cotton Club".

1920 was the start of the golden age of the big bands. Today another swinging band provides plenty of ambiance.

The evening takes place in the breathtaking décor of the Ghent Opera House...

...spanning three historic rooms, including this lavishly-decorated lounge suite.

In addition to big band music, a tap-dance group makes its appearance.

The gala dinner, adorned with specially-adapted wines, is of a high culinary standard.

In another room, casino games play a central role, including roulette...

...blackjack and craps (gambling), drawing the interest of the hundreds of guests!

Not least because everyone is there in costume from the fashion of the Charleston Era. Some with cigar, others without.

Luxurious boas, white hats, colourful dresses, tailor-made striped suits: there's many an Al Capone or Marlène Dietrich here!

Perhaps slightly more modern was the tasteful appearance of Born, Idols 2004 finalist.

The party hall is full to bursting with both young and old.

Dancing and swinging with a vengeance.

In the central foyer the DJ fires up dance floor.

Things aren't quite as loud - but still just as lively - in the stylish champagne bar...

...a nice place to be, with soft jazz music in the background.

Meanwhile the dancing breaks out in all its glory.

And we raise our glasses to the top-class organisation! So long!
